In our world today there are quite a few tourist destinations
that seem to make the list of must-visit places for both first timers as well
as frequent visitors. As such, Brazil is considered to be one such
country that is frequently on the list of top international destinations. It is
the largest country in both South America and Latin America and
is the fifth largest country worldwide in terms of area. One of the fastest
growing sectors of Brazil is the travel and tourism market which is the
key to economic development in various regions within the country. In 2010 tourism
revenue was estimated at $6 billion which indicates a clear recovery
from the economic recession of 2008/2009.
