I had been by this eatery many
times while making a quick shopping stop next door at the Food Lion
grocery store. This place is easily lost in the shuffle of the other eateries
connected and nearby to include an ice cream shop and Chinese restaurant.
I am more prone to visiting a Chinese restaurant and ice cream shop than
I am an Italian restaurant for some reason. I guess it is because I am
become accustomed to much larger stand-alone buildings as opposed to one
nestled among other businesses in a shopping plaza. I finally decided to visit
this place after a business associate mentioned it during the last football
playoff season in early 2014 when my appetite for Buffalo wings
is at its yearly peak. He said that they had some of the best wings in the area
and judging from the size of this guy he appeared to be a connoisseur of good
food.
I decided to order a sit down
meal so that I could charge my mobile phone while dining. The interior was
clean and featured booths as well as tables for dining. The décor was typical
of any Italian eatery and the men′s room was clean as well. I decide to take a
table close to the front of the dining area because it was the only available
seating close to my phone being charged. My server was very friendly as she
took my order of five Buffalo wings with mild sauce and celery sticks, and
a glass of water to wash them down. It was around lunch time and the dining
area quickly began to fill with mostly regular customers based on observation.
Despite that, my order was up in the typical 10-minute time frame. The
total cost with taxes came to $6.37 which was not bad for lunch.
