This eatery is tucked away inside a very popular Latino
supermercado (Supermarket) so if you do not shop there it would be very
difficult for you to just run across this place. I have been shopping at
similar markets for quite some time now and have grown accustomed to finding
just what I need to fulfill my grocery and cerveza (Beer) list. I was initially
drawn to this type ethnic market because of certain spices/foods that were/are not
available in mainstream grocery stores like guacamole′. I then began to look
around and find other items that were/are not readily available. The prices are
sometimes higher but that can be expected since the other stores do not carry
certain items I guess because of the lack of demand.
I had actually browsed by this eatery on several occasions while shopping at Compare Foods when one day I decided to give it a try mainly because of the very friendly owner who was more than eager to transfer my dinero (Money) from my pocket to his. In fact, he would often brag about the American dollar being muy bueno (Very good). His excitement for our currency actually motivated me to give him mine -- in exchange for a meal of course. Little did I know that that first meal would lead to many more during my brief stint in the Triad (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Highpoint) area.
