I have never been to New York and this trip will be one for my bucket list. We will get to savor the beauty of our country via motor coach from Charlotte and Mooresville, North Carolina, to Paramus, New Jersey where we will be staying at the quiet and quaint Comfort Suites Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. This hotel is just across the Hudson River and is minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple.

Day one includes an all-American trip to the United States Military Academy in Orange County, New York, where we will be treated to a guided tour of the training facility which will include its role during the Revolutionary War, its famous history as well as graduates who helped shape our nation. Next, it’s off to a Dutch treat lunch and then to the home of former President Franklin D. Roosevelt in Hyde Park, New York – his hometown – where we will enjoy a guided one hour tour into the life of our nation’s longest-serving Commander-and-Chief. That evening, we will cap this exciting day with a wine social and exquisite dinner at the Grand Lux Café’ in Paramus, New Jersey, not too far from our hotel.

Day two features a fun and exciting tour and lunch along the Hudson River aboard the Captain JP II lavish cruise vessel. Next, it’s off to the Big Apple for a memorable tour of the most popular sights the city has to offer such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and the former World Trade Center site. On day four we end our whirlwind trip with power shopping in Manhattan where you will be able to shop til you drop. This is a trip you will not want to miss and one for your bucket list.
