NC Filmed Union Bound Opened April 22^nd

The film Union Bound opened Friday April 22, 2016 in theaters nationwide. The movie filmed at Stagville Plantation in Durham, NC, and at several locations in Edenton. The independent film was produced by Wake Forest-based Uptown Pictures, the independent feature shot in Spring 2014 with production taking place in Wake, Durham, and Chowan counties. While its financial impacts have not yet been released/filed with NCDOR (North Carolina Department of Revenue), the production was expected to spend more than $500,000 while creating approximately 300 job opportunities.
