#1 CANADA: 2019 Visitation = 3.6M

The federal government has extended the Canada-U.S. land border closure to all non-essential travel until January 2021. Canadians are able to fly into the U.S. and several insurance Providers have introduced COVID-19 (Coronavirus) medical coverage into select policies that include travel to the U.S.

◊ #2 UK & IRELAND (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland): 2019 Visitation = 1.5M | Market Share = 28.7%

The required quarantine time for anyone arriving into the U.K. has been reduced from 14 to 10 days, with the continued exception of countries on the approved Travel Corridor list which is reviewed and updated on a weekly basis. From this week, the U.K. has introduced a new Test and Release Scheme, where people entering the U.K. will be able to pay for a private test (from an approved government list of providers) which will cut their self-isolation time to just under a week if it comes back negative. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) continues to advise against all non-essential travel except to countries and territories which have been placed on an exemption list. The U.S.A. is Currently NOT on the exemption list.

◊ #3 BRAZIL: 2019 Visitation = 1.2M | Market Share = 58.1%

U.S. borders closed to Brazilian travelers the last week of May, the length of the ban is unknown. Starting August 1, 2020, U.S. citizens were permitted to travel into Brazil again.

◊ #4 COLOMBIA: 2019 Visitation = 610K | Market Share = 64.6%

Officially reopened on September 1, 2020, and flights to the US/Florida have resumed. The Minister of Health, Fernando Ruiz, announced that starting November 5, 2020, there will no longer be a requirement for a negative PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test for travelers arriving in Colombia. Likewise, he announced the lifting of the restriction for the use of the bathroom on flights that last less than two hours. The distribution of food in sealed and prepackaged containers is also authorized, but it must be done in such a way that passengers in the same row do not eat at the same time.

◊ #5 MEXICO: 2019 Visitation = 502K | Market Share = 18.3%
Currently closed into the U.S. for land travelers until at least January 2021.

◊ #6 GERMANY: 2019 Visitation = 403K | Market Share = 17.6%

Only a small number of international destinations are currently open for German tourists amid the continuing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Overseas destinations where entry is possible with restrictions, include Cuba, Thailand, Namibia and Uganda. There are travel warnings for many other countries while entry is not possible in leading travel destinations such as the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
